This background in service excellence informs my current role as the Italian Wine Buyer at K&L Wine Merchants, where I curate one of the most respected selections in California, focusing on iconic producers and hidden gems.
I am a VIA Certified Italian Wine Ambassador and Educator, a distinction held by a select group of professionals globally. This certification from the Vinitaly International Academy allows me to bridge the gap between complex academic research—covering Italy’s 500+ native grapes and diverse terroirs—and the practical needs of the U.S. retail market.
Originally from Italy, my perspective is further refined by a culinary degree from the International Culinary Center in New York City. By blending technical culinary expertise with advanced wine education, I aim to provide a holistic understanding of Italian wine that is as grounded in history and science as it is in the joy of the table.
