Questions about wine
Building a cellar, choosing a bottle for an occasion, working out what to drink now and what to keep, or trying to get a grip on a region — these are the messages I most enjoy. The more specific the question, the better the answer.
Corrections
If something on this site is factually wrong, please tell me. Appellation rules change, producers change hands, and I would far rather be corrected than repeat an error. See Methodology & Disclosure for how corrections are handled.
Producers, importers and trade
I am the Italian wine buyer at K&L Wine Merchants, and buying conversations belong at the store rather than here. Coverage on this site cannot be bought, arranged, or obtained by sending bottles — please read the disclosure before pitching. Unsolicited samples sent for review are not accepted.
